So please try slip a sheet of cardboard or plastic underneath the filter before you pull it out. And clean all the leaves and debris in the cabin before putting new filters in.

The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh. Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side of the vehicle behind the glove box. Tools: Standard screwdriver

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

Remove the 2 screws that secure the bottom of the glovebox to the vehicle.
Open the glovebox and remove the 2 screws that secure the top of the glovebox to the vehicle.
Pull out on the glovebox to release the four retainer clips.
Unclip the filter housing cover and remove the old cabin air filter.
Insert your new cabin air filter into the housing.
Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure.
Close the glovebox and it’s done.
