The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh. Location of this cabin filter: Underneath the glove box. Tools: T-20 Torx wrench.

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

Remove the instrument panel insulator from beneath the glove box.
Locate the cabin filter access door and remove the screw holding it in place.
Remove the access door.
Before the old filter is removed, take notice of the older filter's direction.
Pull out old cabin air filter and clean up the cabin if there's dust and leaves inside.
Slide the new filter in with a flow arrow oriented in the same direction as the old filter.
Replace the cabin filter access door and instrument panel insulator.
