    The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh. Location of this cabin filter: Under the hood, in front of the windshield. Tools: None required

    When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model):

    1. Open the hood and locate the cabin air filter compartment, which is against the firewall.
    2. Unscrew and remove the thumb screw located in front center of the plastic lid.
    3. Press on the tabs on either side of the lid and lift upward to remove.
    4. Before the old filter is removed, take notice of the flow arrow on the old filter.
    5. Pull out old cabin air filter, then slide new filter in with flow arrow oriented in same direction as old filter.
    6. Press the lid to the compartment until it clicks in place and insert thumb screw.
