The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh.

Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side of the vehicle under/behind the glove box. Tools: Phillips head screwdriver

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

        1. Open the glove box.
        2. Remove the 2 stops, one on each side of the glove box, by pushing the stops in from the outside and allow the glove box to swing freely down toward the floor.
        3. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver and remove the 4 screws (2 on each side) of the glove box that secure the glove box to the vehicle.
        4. Unhook the heater control cable that is blocking the cabin filter cover and move it out of the way.
        5. Remove the cabin filter cover by unlatching it at the bottom and unhooking it from the top.
        6. Remove the dirty filter by pulling it straight out and insert your new cabin filter.
        7. Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and it’s done.
